Department of Behavioral Health
The Department of Behavioral Health is a government public health system providing services in prevention, intervention, treatment, and support to individuals with mental- and/or substance-based disorders. The department provides emergency psychiatric care and outpatient and residential services throughout Washington, D.C.
Taking inspiration from the department’s mission to support recovery from mental health and substance use disorders, the design team developed a recognizable visual language and brand. In a complete overhaul of all corporate communications, this design for the Department of Behavioral Health included stationery, signage, and name cards.
