A long time Moya’s client, the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) is a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood which aims to be a dynamic destination right in the heart of DC. As part of the MVT CID’s continued effort to provide its residents and community with an enriching and diverse experience, the Perspectives MVT initiative organizes art exhibits, and open forums where MVT residents and visitors can learn, meet experts, and exchange opinions about art and society.
The Design team created an astounding branding strategy for Perspectives MVT, placing art appreciation and diversity awareness at the center of the design. The rotation of the design and the two lines emulate the iconic hand gesture of framing an image. To better represent diversity and plurality of opinions, the team fragmented the word Perspectives. The stunning visual effect is accentuated by the solid lines of the Sans Bold in black and white, which adds visibility as well as elegant versatility. The finishing touch is the green detail of the tagline, a fresh and modern call to action that also provides a wider range of colors.
