Teatro Lirico

Teatro Lirico of DC is a unique and exciting performance project that showcases Hispanic classical music and Hispanic opera singers in the Washington, D.C. area. It was created to respond to the lack of opportunities for enjoying this type of music. The group specializes in staged performances of opera, zarzuelas (Spanish light operas), and concerts of art songs. Teatro Lirico’s repertoire spans from early Baroque to contemporary works.

The design team created a comprehensive branding strategy for Teatro Lirico, taking its Hispanic heritage as the core of its identity. Deep, velvety shades of red unite in a minimalist logo that represents the theater building.  The design team then transported this identity across all marketing materials to achieve a standout look and feel for the project.
