“Transitions” Logo

“Transitions”—MOYA’s inaugural Art After Dark benefit event took place in October 2019 at the DowntownDC BID featuring art by Hector J. Torres. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and music from singer/songwriter Jonathan Acosta while immersing themselves in Torres’ creative journey. It was a unique opportunity to take home Torres’ one-of-a-kind creations, with a portion of proceeds supporting DC individuals experiencing homelessness.

We conceived the “Transitions” logo as part of a comprehensive branding strategy for the event. Made of ‘slices’ of the over 40 artworks featured that evening, the logo conveys Torres’ self-described “multi-stylistic” process. Event collateral included boards, brochures, a catalog, t-shirts, tote bags, web graphics, an artist’s postcard and business card.
