Moya Design Partners provided editorial, illustration, and digital platform design for Vision 2027, the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID)’s multiplatform “Vision for the Future.” Our visual design team provided a web landing page, a print report, and a series of seven distinctive illustrations for the 2019 leg of the BID’s ten-year, long-range plan. The Vision 2027 web landing page functions as a public gateway to the report, providing a summary infographic, a PDF link to the report, and an overall snapshot of the BID’s annual goals and recommendations.
MOYA provided clean, contemporary graphic design to bring a cohesive and approachable feel to Vision 2027’s digital platform. We used a primary color scheme of red, yellow, and blue to align with the BID’s existing branding and to underline the fundamental importance of the BID’s recommendations. A radio button embedded in the header provides instant access to a PDF version of the print report. Topics for 2019 included transportation, the economy, the public realm, and human services. We used bold color blocks to define these main topics for an uncluttered, easy-to-navigate user experience. Along with seven custom illustrations by MOYA, the campaign’s landing page provides a blueprint for the report and a gateway for the public to learn about the BID’s Vision 2027 initiatives.
